Martin Street CDC – VITA and Tax-Aide Location

With the help of the City of Raleigh and Republic Bank, Vision Credit Education is opening this Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) site. Tax returns will be prepared and e-filed for most individuals and families who make less than $50,000 or are over the age of 62. This location is fully accessible for persons with disabilities.
Site will be open (starting January 24, 2012):
Tuesdays 5 – 8 PM
Thursdays 5 -8 PM

Starting February 1st, additional hours will be available at this super site. The hours starting in February will be:
Mondays 10 AM – 2:30 PM
Tuesdays 10 AM – 2:30 PM, 5 – 8 PM
Thursday 10 AM – 2:30 PM, 5 – 8 PM
Please bring social security cards for all on the tax return along with W-2s and other income sources for taxpayer, spouse, and dependents.

If filing a joint return do both people need to be there?
