Wednesday April the 15th is the final day for filing your income taxes on-time. Many sites will be open that day, and some may even be open beyond April 15th for those who still need to file. Some sites may remain open nearly year-round for taxpayers that are late on filing or who need to file previous years’ returns.
If you are putting tax filing off until the last minute, understand that so are many other people. The last week leading up to April 15 is one of the busiest weeks of the year for free tax sites. We recommend making an appointment or visiting a free tax site prior to April 8 if you want to avoid the wait! Call 211 for your nearest free tax site.
