The Federal VITA grants will not be announced until early November (or later). Tiki Windley of EITC-Carolinas confirmed with the Greensboto IRS office that the announcement would be delayed.
Additionally, it was revealed that the IRS has approved 111 of 350 applications. Let’s all hope that we receive some of this needed support!

The collective efforts of our community partners and volunteers is paying off. Our goal of establishing a county-wide collaboration became reality in Fall of 2007. It is now a new year. Read the rest of this entry »
